"Life on Life" in Community

Fall

The abundant life that Jesus Christ made available to us was never intended for us to live out alone. Jesus modeled "life on life" in community by investing Himself in a small group of 12.  Even from the beginning of the early church, the believers knew that an intimate life with Christ translated into an intimate life with each other (Acts 2:42-47).

Life Transformation Groups

SIMPLE but POWERFUL!

Most Small Groups take a break in June and July, so Life Transformation Groups provide a way to continue in a discipleship pattern for the summer.  This is how they function:

1.  They meet once a week for approximately 1 hour.

2.  Groups consist of 2 to 4 or when 4 or 5 break into 2 groups.

3.  The groups are not co-ed.

4.  There is no curriculum, workbook or training involved.

5.  There is no leader; members take turns as facilitator.

6.  The group centers on three things:

• Scripture:  Each member reads 1 chapter a week, 5 times before the meeting, and the group discusses how God is speaking to them through the scripture.
• Accountability questions.
• Prayer:  They pray for souls strategically, specifically and continuously.
